Most internet recipes are pretty similar to how I serve Lox and Bagels. Just make a crust, top with cream cheeze, lox, tomatoes, onions and capers.
I prefer something closer to the "greek" pesto-pizzas I have had. This is loose recipe.
Press about 5 garlic cloves, add about 1/2 tsp fresh ground pepper and cover with olive oil.
Prepare a fresh pizza dough according to your favorite recipe, and spread out on a pan for preparation. I prepare the pizza on a cutting board coated with corn meal and then bake on a pizza stone. You may want to prepare and bake on a cookie sheet.
Paint the crust with the garlic/pepper oil.
Add a thin layer of mozerella.
Add some feta cheeze crubbles.
Place a layer of smoked salmon (norwegian/lox style, not canned or
smokehouse-dry salmon)
Place a dollup of cream cheeze on the salmon pieces.
Add some thin sliced onions
Sprinkle a few capers around
add some sprigs of fresh basil
Spray or baste the salmon and basil with some extra olive oil
to keep them from drying out when cooking.
Bake at 475 for about 10 minutes.
Serve.
