Blueberry Sauce
- 2 c blueberries
- 1/2 c water
- 1/2 c sugar
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch, dissolved in a little water (ublek)
- 2 Tbsp lemmon juice + zest from lemmon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract.
- bring water, blueberries and sugar to a low simmer.
- stir in cornstarch mixture, slowly.
- As it starts to thicken, add zest, and reduce to below boiling
- When it thickens (about 5 minutes), remove from heat
- add vanilla and lemmon juice
