Blueberry Sauce

  1. bring water, blueberries and sugar to a low simmer.
  2. stir in cornstarch mixture, slowly.
  3. As it starts to thicken, add zest, and reduce to below boiling
  4. When it thickens (about 5 minutes), remove from heat
  5. add vanilla and lemmon juice
